English Teacher

Job Role:

• Teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
• Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking
• Promote excellent subject knowledge and instill a passion for literature
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with other Secondary Teachers and support staff to achieve the school’s objectives

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Proven experience of teaching English in a secondary setting
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Passion for working with young people and inspiring them to succeed
• Experience with Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) is essential
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
