About the Role:
As the Inpatients Midwifery Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring exceptional care for women and their families. With professional and managerial accountability, you will lead the midwifery team and coordinate multidisciplinary services to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing governance, quality, and safety standards within maternity services.

About You:
To succeed in this pivotal role, you will need:

  • NMC Registration as a first-level registered midwife.
  • Significant post-registration experience in varied roles, including team leadership.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Mentorship qualification and Level 3 safeguarding certification.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical practice, governance, and risk frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and implement positive change.
  • Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.
  • Experience in effective staff management, training, and running a department.
