The HGV Mechanic Role:

• Repair a fleet of HGV vehicles by manufacturer specification
• Diagnose or assist in the diagnosis of vehicle faults
• Assist with roadside breakdowns when required
• Accurately fill out service sheets

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

• You will have previous experience working as an HGV mechanic, HGV technician, HGV fitter or HGV engineer.
• You will need to hold a City and Guilds or NVQ min level 2 qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics/HGV
• You may have experience in carrying out MOT's to VOSA standards and an IRTEC Inspection accreditation
