Job Title: Registered Nurse

Salary: £36,899 - £47,590 per annum - DOE

This role will involve supervising and supporting the professional development of both registered and unregistered nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to enhance their professional development.
- Patient Care: Lead the care process for patients, taking responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Team Coordination: Work alongside the ward manager and senior nursing team to ensure effective management and delivery of high-quality care.
- Professional Development: Provide clinical supervision, assist with preceptorship for new staff, and engage in the NMC Revalidation process.
- Comprehensive Care Delivery: Ensure that patient care is delivered in line with established clinical guidelines and the ward’s philosophy.
Key Duties:
- Practice & Philosophy: Apply nursing models and theories to provide evidence-based care, aiming for positive patient outcomes and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
- Staff Development: Mentor junior nurses and support the development of unregistered staff through competency frameworks and training programs.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines, infection control policies, and safe handling procedures to ensure a safe care environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: A Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and significant clinical experience.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor nursing teams, with a commitment to professional development.
- Desirable: Completion of the Practice Assessor/Supervisors course and portfolio evidence meeting competency criteria.
- Key Attributes: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
