Do you have a compassionate and supportive nature, and a passion for helping children, especially those with additional learning needs?
Are you looking for a role that offers both professional development and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?
If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity! A warm and inclusive primary school in Walsall is seeking a Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant with a background in Psychology to join their dedicated team.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, long-term role for the remainder of the academic year
- Salary up to £520 per week
- Convenient location in Walsall with excellent public transport links
- Ideal for graduates with a Psychology degree considering a career in SEN teaching, educational psychology, or related fields

- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs
We are looking for a motivated and caring graduate with a Psychology degree who is ready to support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and encouraging environment. The school promotes an inclusive culture where every child is supported to succeed, and you will play a key role in helping each student reach their full potential.
While previous experience working with children is beneficial, it is not essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for graduates to apply their knowledge in human behavior and communication in an educational setting.
If you’re considering a career in educational psychology or special needs teaching, this role offers invaluable hands-on experience. The school has recently undergone extensive renovations, including the introduction of sensory rooms and other resources designed to support children with additional needs.
If you’re passionate about supporting students, working collaboratively with teachers, and contributing to a positive school atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you!
