Job Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting a Class Teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Helping children engage with the National Curriculum, specifically in Early Years (EYFS).
- Assisting in preparing classroom resources for EYFS, Reception, and Nursery.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
- Monitoring children’s progress and assisting with assessments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous UK school experience, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or TA in a primary school.
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and the National Curriculum.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed, especially within EYFS, Reception, and Nursery.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
