Teaching Assistant

Job Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting a Class Teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
• Helping children engage with the National Curriculum, specifically in Early Years (EYFS).
• Assisting in preparing classroom resources for EYFS, Reception, and Nursery.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
• Monitoring children’s progress and assisting with assessments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous UK school experience, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or TA in a primary school.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework and the National Curriculum.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed, especially within EYFS, Reception, and Nursery.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
