Job Role

• Teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes with a focus on engagement and behaviour management.

• Working 4 days per week.

• Long-term position until the end of the academic year.

• Implementing strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviour.

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

• Attending CPD training relevant to behaviour management and subject knowledge.

• Delivering engaging and structured lessons that cater to varying learning needs.

• Following school policy on behaviour management and safeguarding.

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

• Experience working with children who display challenging behaviour.

• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support different learning needs.

• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to teaching.

• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.

• Minimum of two excellent references required.

• Competitive daily rate: £125 to £160 per day (£24,375 - £31,200 per annum based on full-time work).
