We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Secondary School in Redditch. This Secondary Teacher role offers an exciting opportunity to teach Food Technology at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) level.
The successful Food Technology Teacher will be expected to make a real impact within the department and contribute to the overall school community. You will be expected to plan and mark.
As a Food Technology Teacher in this vibrant Secondary School, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Full class responsibilities including lesson planning, teaching, and marking
- Support and encourage students to reach their full potential in practical and theoretical lessons
- Promote excellent subject knowledge and innovative teaching strategies
- Maintain a high standard of classroom management and ensure excellent behaviour
Required Skills and Experience for a Food Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT) applications welcomed
- Excellent subject knowledge in Food Technology
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students within the National Curriculum
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
- Good understanding of the needs of students with varying abilities
Working as a Food Technology Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
- £160 to £220 per day, equating to £31,200 to £42,900 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
