Teaching Assistant

This role is perfect for a dedicated TA who enjoys supporting young learners in Key Stage 1 and Reception. Job Role:

• Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Assisting children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) with their learning and development.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Helping with classroom management and general admin tasks as directed by the Class Teacher.
• Working full-time in a Year 1 class to provide consistent support throughout the school day.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
• Experience working in EYFS or Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
