Purpose of the Job:
Your mission is to carry out the triage of new Safeguarding Adults referrals and respond to complex, high-risk adult safeguarding inquiries. Upholding the principles of the Care Act and Making Safeguarding Personal, you will promote and contribute to the safety and well-being of adults at risk, working to prevent harm and reduce abuse or neglect. You'll implement the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland safeguarding adults’ practices and procedures, engage in multi-agency risk management, and conduct social care assessments, particularly for complex cases. Working with residents of Rutland, you will create, review, and monitor support or protection plans in partnership with individuals and their carers, including those who lack capacity to make decisions about their support and accommodation.

What you will do:

• Conduct triage of new safeguarding adult referrals
• Address complex and high-risk safeguarding inquiries
• Collaborate within multi-agency teams
• Carry out comprehensive social care assessments
• Develop and monitor personalised support or protection plans
• Engage with individuals, including those lacking decision-making capacity
• Uphold Care Act principles and Making Safeguarding Personal
• Implement local safeguarding practices and procedures
