Design Technology Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to join a GOOD Ofsted-rated secondary school in Smethwick. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Resistant Materials across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a supportive and well-resourced environment. The Role:

• Full-time Design Technology Teacher role teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons following the National Curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively with excellent behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student learning.
• Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching Design Technology in a Secondary School.
• Strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials and the National Curriculum.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
