Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification
- 2:1 or higher degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Strong academic background with a passion for helping students succeed in Science.
- Confident communicator with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage students.
- Prior experience in mentoring, tutoring, or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
- Ambitious graduate considering a future in teaching or educational psychology.
Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Job Specification
- Full-time, long-term role Graduate Science Teaching Assistant role
- Up to £520 per week.
- Work alongside experienced Science teachers to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students grasp complex scientific concepts.
- Assist in GCSE and A-Level Science preparation, reinforcing key topics and exam strategies.
- Gain experience in lesson planning, behaviour management, and lab-based learning.
- Sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
