If you’re ready to support children with special educational needs (SEN) and help them succeed, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Stoke.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, working alongside experienced teachers to provide tailored support for students with SEN.
What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Health and Social Care, Sociology, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with students and staff.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- The flexibility to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Previous experience working with children, such as mentoring or tutoring, is desirable but not essential.
Your Role:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students overcome learning challenges.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and deliver lessons tailored to students' needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
