About the School:
A large, well-established Secondary School in Central Leeds with a dedicated inclusion team is looking to appoint a diligent and motivated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team starting in February 2025.

About You: We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Holds a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Psychology or related subject from a Top university
- Has a genuine passion for special education and supporting vulnerable learners
- Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and adaptability in various situations
- Is patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting student needs
- Can work collaboratively within a specialist education team
- Is interested in pursuing a career in SEN teaching or educational psychology
Key Responsibilities: As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with various special educational needs, including ASD and ADHD, in both one-to-one and small group settings
- Work collaboratively with specialist SEN teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support
- Develop strong relationships with students and help them overcome barriers to learning
- Liaise with external organizations to ensure comprehensive student support
- Contribute to individual education plans and progress monitoring
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
