We are recruiting a teaching assistant role to work in the Aston area in a Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment in a Year 2 class.
The school is looking for a candidate with experience providing small groups and 1:1 intervention for core subjects.
This role will start in February 2025 and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-3:30).
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Experience working in Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• UK school experience
• A minimum of 2 excellent references

We are currently working with schools in Aston, Nechells, Erdington and Handsworth who all require day-to-day Learning Support Assistants to help support their students and permanent teaching staff.
