Primary Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Supply Teacher with Primary experience to join our team, to work in various primary schools in Cinderford and the surrounding areas on a day-to-day supply basis. Working as a Supply teacher for Flourish Education gives you the opportunity to only work the days you want to work in schools you want to work at, offering flexibility and a great work/life balance.

As a Supply Teacher you will not be expected to plan lessons. You will however be required to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and to mark pupil’s work. You will have high expectations of pupil behaviour, work well as part of a team alongside the teaching assistants and be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.

We are looking for a flexible and committed Primary teacher to start immediately.

As a Primary Teacher in this Supply Teacher role, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Adhering to the National Curriculum and providing engaging lessons
• Ensuring the well-being and safety of students in line with school policies
• Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive manner
• Providing feedback and support to students as they progress
• Covering teacher absences on a flexible, day-to-day basis

Required skills and experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Proven experience teaching in Primary Schools across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and current educational practices
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and be flexible in your approach to teaching
• A passion for delivering quality education to young learners
