Flourish Education is currently recruiting a KS2 Teacher to work in a small rural Primary school in Hereford, to join their team on a part-time basis. The school are looking for a KS2 Teacher to work for two days per week (Thursday and Friday). This is a temporary position until the end of the academic year.

The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED, and pride themselves on being a ‘vibrant and inclusive school’. The school fosters a strong and caring whole-school community ethos, with the children being at the heart of all they do.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher to work within a Year 3 class. The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, and excellent behaviour management skills.

This role will include full class teaching responsibilities, including planning are preparing lessons and marking work. This is a job-share position, and any planning will be shared with the current class teacher. You will be expected to attend regular meetings, and to carry out any relevant training.

We are looking for a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher for an immediate start.

Job Role:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to children in Key Stage 2.
  • Support the day-to-day needs of the class, ensuring effective learning.
  • Work in different primary schools across Hereford and surrounding areas.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that supports children's learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents to support children's progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Experience as a Class Teacher or Supply Teacher is desirable.
  • Ability to build rapport with children and staff quickly.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
