Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Providing targeted interventions, including phonics interventions and reading interventions.
• Assisting with Key Stage 1 (KS1) learning activities.
• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and ensuring a safe environment.
• Offering additional support to children who need extra help in their learning journey.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Primary School.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous UK school experience is essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience with Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Experience with phonics interventions, reading interventions, and lunchtime supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide additional support where needed.

• £85.02 - £98.41 a day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
