Year 4 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Harborne. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school with a supportive leadership team. This role is a maternity cover position and requires a dedicated Primary Teacher with strong behaviour management skills. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Full class responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.
• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management strategies to enhance pupil progress.
• Provide assessment and feedback to ensure pupils achieve their potential.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Year 4 or within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Proven track record of effective classroom management.
• Ability to engage and inspire pupils within a primary school setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
