Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils, ensuring every child's learning journey is engaging and effective.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Assist the Class Teacher in delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Support small groups and provide 1-1 intervention sessions for pupils needing extra help.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Support classroom management and ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils.
• Assist with assessments and feedback to the Class Teacher for pupil progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a Primary School setting, particularly within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Ability to work effectively with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for supporting children's education and development.
• Experience in providing small group and 1-1 interventions is essential.
• Previous UK school experience is a must.
