Job Role:

• Deliver engaging English lessons following the National Curriculum across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in English Literature and English Language.
• Maintain excellent classroom management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Differentiate lessons to support students at various learning levels, including GCSE, A-Level, and BTEC.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to enhance the student learning experience.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, promoting progress and attainment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) certification.
• Experience teaching English Literature and English Language in a Secondary School setting.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent classroom management skills to promote positive behaviour.
• Passion for education and inspiring student progress.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in various school environments.
