As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
- Teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), ensuring high standards of delivery in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide engaging lessons that inspire and support students to achieve their best in GCSE, BTEC, or A-level Food Technology.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment for all students.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum planning and development.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Food Technology with experience teaching GCSE, BTEC, and A-level.
- Experience working in a Secondary School with a focus on Food Technology.
- Proven ability in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- A passion for inspiring students and improving their learning outcomes in Food Technology.
- Flexibility to work across various secondary schools in the Cradley Heath area.
