Teaching Assistant

The responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant role include:

• Provide support across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), assisting in whole class or 1-1, small group support.
• Help children to develop their skills across the National Curriculum, including Early Years (EYFS).
• Support children's learning in a Primary School setting, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
• Work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure children receive the best possible learning experience.
• Create a positive learning environment where children can thrive and develop confidence.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant or related field.
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School, supporting children across the Primary School age range.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum, including Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Proven experience in providing whole class or 1-1, small group support.
• A minimum of two excellent references from previous roles in education.
