Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - 3 Shift Pattern (Early, Lates and Nights)

Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced, high-speed manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong mechanical bias to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to optimise machine performance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical bias with strong hands-on maintenance skills.
• Apprentice trained or a minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors is desirable.
