Senior Social Worker - Adults Specialism in Lewisham, earning £36 hourly.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate within a multi-agency team to deliver integrated services to users and carers.
  • Embed risk management and safeguarding protocols into everyday practice.
  • Promote independent living and personalisation through resource utilisation and community engagement.
  • Support service users in self-directed support planning, ensuring personal budget management aligns with their needs.
  • Act as Safeguarding Adults Manager, ensuring comprehensive safeguarding processes.
  • Take charge of high-standard assessments and reviews, championing user choice.
  • Present to Vulnerable Adults panels and lead complex case reviews.
  • Supervise staff, providing oversight and professional growth opportunities.
  • Foster positive joint work practices within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Uphold standards of service delivery and respond to feedback as needed.
  • Perform responsibilities aligned with Council policies and safeguard vulnerable groups effectively.
