English Teacher

As an English Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in English Literature and English Language to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
• Providing excellent subject knowledge and adapting lesson plans to engage all students effectively
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management in the classroom
• Providing support for students' individual needs and ensuring their academic progression
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students and staff
• Managing assessments and feedback to ensure students meet their learning targets

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
• Previous experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and English Language
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills
• Ability to deliver the National Curriculum and adapt to different teaching environments
• Passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their potential
• Flexibility to work in various secondary schools across Wolverhampton
