As an English Teacher you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality lessons in English Literature and English Language to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
- Providing excellent subject knowledge and adapting lesson plans to engage all students effectively
- Maintaining excellent behaviour management in the classroom
- Providing support for students' individual needs and ensuring their academic progression
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students and staff
- Managing assessments and feedback to ensure students meet their learning targets
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
- Previous experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and English Language
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills
- Ability to deliver the National Curriculum and adapt to different teaching environments
- Passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their potential
- Flexibility to work in various secondary schools across Wolverhampton
