English Teacher

Flourish Education is currently seeking an experienced English Teacher to join Secondary Schools in Smethwick. This role is ideal for a dedicated English Teacher looking for flexible, day-to-day, or short-term positions in a supportive environment. As a Supply Teacher, you can work when and where you want, fitting teaching around your lifestyle.

As a English Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging English Literature and English Language lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work in line with the National Curriculum.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Differentiating lessons to cater to diverse student needs and learning abilities.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum delivery.
• Providing constructive feedback to support student progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification.
• Experience teaching English in a UK Secondary School.
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to deliver lessons that engage and inspire students.
• Minimum of two excellent references.
