Geography Teacher

Flourish Education is currently seeking a Geography Teacher to join a Secondary School in Cradley Heath. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Geography Teacher to work flexibly in a Secondary School, choosing the days and locations that suit them best. As a Geography Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students in line with the National Curriculum
• Marking and assessing students' work, providing constructive feedback to promote progress.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with other Humanities department staff to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography and Humanities in a Secondary School in the UK.
• Strong subject knowledge of Geography and the National Curriculum.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• A minimum of two excellent references.
