Teaching Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Class Teacher, providing essential class-based support across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work on a supply, long-term, or permanent basis to suit your needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Assisting pupils in line with the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support for children with varying learning needs.
• Helping with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting children's social and emotional development.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance pupil learning.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and classroom-based support strategies.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Relevant qualifications such as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification are desirable but not essential.

• A competitive daily pay rate of £85.02 - £98.41, equating to £16,578.90 - £19,189.95 per annum based on full-time work.
