Send Teaching Assistant

Our client, an Ofsted-rated "Good" school in Quedgeley, is seeking a dedicated TA to support children with SEND needs, making a real difference in their learning journey. This role is perfect for someone with experience in UK schools and a passion for helping children succeed.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for children with SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
• Assisting the Class Teacher in delivering the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Collaborating with staff to implement individual learning plans tailored to students' needs.
• Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
• Helping children to build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in a relevant field.
• Experience supporting children with SEND in UK schools.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum, including EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• The ability to manage and support children with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
• A proactive approach to working with Class Teachers and other professionals.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
