Chemistry Teacher

This role is due to start immediately, and you will be expected to plan and mark. You will be teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Mark and assess student work to provide constructive feedback and ensure progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities.
• Support the personal and academic development of all students.

Required Skills and Experience for a Chemistry Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Proven ability to maintain excellent behaviour management in the classroom.
• A passion for inspiring students and fostering their academic growth.
