This role is due to start immediately, and you will be expected to plan and mark. You will be teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Mark and assess student work to provide constructive feedback and ensure progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities.
- Support the personal and academic development of all students.
Required Skills and Experience for a Chemistry Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Proven ability to maintain excellent behaviour management in the classroom.
- A passion for inspiring students and fostering their academic growth.
