Computer Science Teacher

This role is due to start as soon as possible, until Easter. You will not be expected to plan or mark. You will be teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), following the National Curriculum.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential in Computer Science.
• Foster a positive learning environment with excellent behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computing curriculum.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the school’s vibrant culture.

Required Skills and Experience for a Computer Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science.
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.

Working as a Computer Science Teacher for Flourish Education offers you:

• £160 to £220 per day, which equates to £31,200 to £42,900 per annum based on working five days a week for a full school year.
• The option of PAYE or Umbrella.
• Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.

This Computer Science Teacher position is based in Redditch, easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Studley, Alvechurch, Droitwich, Kidderminster, and Barnt Green. The school has excellent transport links and offers onsite parking.
