French And Spanish Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a French and Spanish Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD Secondary School in West Bromwich. This full-time role involves teaching French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), starting after February half-term and continuing until July. The Role:

• Full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.
• Teaching French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students, following the National Curriculum.
• Engaging students through dynamic and interactive lessons.
• Implementing excellent behaviour management strategies.
• Working collaboratively with the Secondary School department to enhance language learning.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, ensuring all pupils achieve their potential.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification.
• Experience teaching French and Spanish in a Secondary School setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for languages.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for modern foreign languages and engaging students in their learning.

Working as a French and Spanish Teacher for Flourish Education offers you:

• £160 to £240  per day, which equates to £31,200 to £46,800 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
• The option of PAYE or Umbrella pay.
• Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued.

• Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, including modules on legislation, FGM, and abuse.

This position is in West Bromwich, which is easily commutable from Oldbury, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury, Handsworth, and Dudley. The Secondary School is well-connected by public transport and offers onsite parking.
