Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Shift: Monday to Friday

I'm currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer position at a high-speed manufacturing company in Wakefield. I'm in search of a Maintenance Engineer, with a mechanical background and a mechanical qualification. In the role the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the depot facilities and automation ensuring that system cleanliness and condition is kept to a high standard.

The Maintenance Engineer will provide mechanical support quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime. If you are prepared for a dynamic role with diverse challenges, they would be delighted to welcome you on board.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

Must have a mechanical engineering qualification.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias.
Response to equipment breakdowns.
Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
Continuous improvements
Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
