Flourish Education are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a local Schools Enhanced Resource Provision, the school is in Bishopsgate Green. The school is committed to ensuring all children succeed and their needs are supported.
The school is looking to appoint a long term SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and support Children with SEN in their Provision. The children have a range of complex needs including Autism, behavioural difficulties, speech and Language.
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis and carry on until the end of the school year.
This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role:Working with a pupils in in the ERP to promote their learning and development.
Providing one-to-one and group support to a pupils with complex SEN needs.
Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning.
Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day.
Delivering interventions in the schools' resource base.
Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, teaching assistance, or equivalent.
A solid understanding of the National Primary Curriculum.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Strong experience with Challenging behaviour
Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:
A competitive salary of £85.02 to £95 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
