Year 1 Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking a Year 1 Teacher, to work in a 2-form entry Primary School in Bromsgrove. This school has high learning standards of pupil's achievements and plans an curriculum around this, they focus on indoor and outdoor play and have forest school integrated across a number of subjects.

Our client is seeking a dedicated Year 1 class Teacher to join them after the February half term, on a full-time, long-term basis, covering a maternity leave. As a Year 1 class Teacher the ideal candidate will be responsible for, full class planning, delivering lessons and marking pupil's work.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessing pupils' progress.
• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Supporting the academic and personal development of Year 1 pupils.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in this two-form entry Primary School.
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
• Engaging with parents and carers to support student progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- essential for this Primary Teacher role.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) within a UK Primary School.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
