Year 5 Teacher

This is a full-time, long-term role starting after February half-term and continuing for the remainder of the academic year. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Assess and mark pupil work, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to a range of learning needs.
• Previous experience as a Class Teacher or Primary Cover Teacher is desirable.
