Send Teaching Assistant

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant looking for flexible and rewarding work in a Primary School? Flourish Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with SEND needs, working on a 1-1 and small group basis. Working as an SEND Teaching Assistant, responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children who have SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, and ASD.
• Assisting the Class Teacher in delivering lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
• Working on a 1-1 and small group basis to provide tailored support.
• Encouraging the development of social and academic skills in children across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Supporting a Primary School environment to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Collaborating with school staff to ensure effective communication and learning strategies for pupils with SEND.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a UK school as a SEND Teaching Assistant or TA.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience supporting children in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Experience working with children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, and ASD.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
