Send Teaching Assistant

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a flexible and rewarding role in a Primary School setting? Flourish Education is currently seeking a dedicated TA to support children with special educational needs in a warm and welcoming school environment. This role offers day-to-day supply flexibility, allowing you to fit work around your commitments while making a real difference.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children with SEND on a 1-1 and small group basis.
• Assist children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, and ASD.
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver the National Curriculum.
• Provide tailored support for pupils in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Create an inclusive learning environment in a Primary School setting.
• Promote positive behaviour and social development in line with school policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
• Previous UK school experience as a TA in a Primary School.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviour.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt learning for individual needs.
• A positive and patient approach to working with children.
