Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, assisting with classwork and reinforcing key concepts
- Support teachers with planning and delivering fun, engaging lessons that capture children’s imaginations
- Help students with developing essential skills such as reading, writing, and numeracy
- Assist in creating a positive, stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and supported
- Encourage the growth of social and emotional skills, helping students build confidence and self-esteem
- Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum
- Help foster a love of learning, motivating students to engage in all subjects and activities
Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in any subject
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive and succeed
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with young learners
- Previous experience in tutoring, childcare, or educational support is a bonus, but not required
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting each child’s individual needs
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, ready to engage and inspire students
