Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

• A 2:1 or higher degree in Education, Psychology, English, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A warm, patient, and energetic personality with a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, mentoring) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to engage and inspire young learners.
• A creative and proactive approach to supporting classroom activities and individual learning.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Job Specification

• Full-time, long-term Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role
• Earn up to £520 per week.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging phonics, reading, and numeracy sessions.
• Support small groups and 1:1 interventions, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
• Help prepare engaging learning activities, including storytelling, hands-on maths games, and creative projects.
• Foster a holistic and inclusive learning environment, supporting children’s emotional and social development.
• Sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – term-time only.
