Overview:

We are offering an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Wolverhampton. This ongoing role provides the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team in a 17-bed PICU ward. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessments and interventions: Provide expert occupational therapy assessments and interventions for paediatric patients in intensive care.

  • Supervision and development: Mentor and supervise Band 5 Occupational Therapists, promoting their growth and development within the team.

  • Documentation: Ensure that all patient care and progress are accurately documented and updated in a timely manner.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Flexibility in commuting: While driving is not mandatory, a flexible approach to commuting is preferred to explore Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
