What You Will Do:

Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring timely and effective intervention.

Undertake Section 47 Investigations: If suitably qualified, lead child protection inquiries, ensuring all actions adhere to legal and best-practice standards.

Duty Rotation: Participate in the duty rota, providing responsive and efficient support to those in need.

Collaborate Across Agencies: Work closely with other professionals within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub to deliver coordinated and holistic care.

Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all casework is accurately documented and compliant with statutory guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England.

Experience in MASH, assessment teams, or child protection services is highly desirable.

Strong analytical, assessment, and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective multi-agency collaboration.
