Job Title: Factory Plastics Operative
Location: Yeovil
Salary: £12.21 per hour from April
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: Temp to Perm
Start Date: Immediate
We are looking for a Factory Plastics Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company in Yeovil. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing who is looking for a long-term role with career progression.
The Job:
• Operating machinery and equipment within the plastics department.
• Assisting with the production process, including injection moulding and other plastic manufacturing tasks.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
The Requirements:
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Previous experience within a plastics department (e.g., injection moulding) is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
