These locations offer large civil engineering projects building new substations to support Scotland’s energy development towards net zero.

Role: Sub Agent

Location: Scotland – multiple locations

Salary: Depending on location & experience

Job Type: Permanent (open to contract)

Qualifications: HND in Engineering (or equivalent), CSCS card, and SSSTS.

Role Overview:

As a sub agent, you will be responsible for managing, supervising and mentoring the project team, whilst setting a high personal standard of health, safety and environmental matters.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold an exemplary level of health, safety and environmental standards
• Assist the agent as required to procure necessary materials, sub-contractors and plant in sufficient time
• Advise the agent of any issues that may arise
• Adopt and maintain a professional attitude with clients and stakeholders to encourage repeat business
• Maintain communication between on- and off-site management
• Take a personal intertest in developing staff to their next level

Who we are looking for

• SSSTS
• CSCS – Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
