Teaching Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Primary School? We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Staunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis while working in a welcoming school environment. If you have experience working with challenging behaviour and a passion for helping children succeed, this role is for you!

Job Role:

• Supporting a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored assistance

   

• Assisting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

   

• Managing challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies

   

• Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

   

• Encouraging pupil engagement and fostering a supportive learning environment

   

• Following the National Curriculum and supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)

   

Required Skills and Experience:

• Teaching Assistant (TA) experience within a UK school is essential

   

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

   

• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum

   

• Experience working with challenging behaviour and supporting SEN pupils

   

• Ability to work effectively with the Class Teacher and school staff

   

• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
