Re Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for an RE Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Sandwell. This full-time maternity cover role starts in June and will run for one year. The school is known for its modern facilities, inclusive ethos, and commitment to student success. You will be responsible for teaching Religious Education (RE) across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum. The Role

As an RE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality RE lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), ensuring engaging and inclusive learning.
• Assessing and providing constructive feedback on students’ work.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to departmental progress.
• Attending staff meetings and parents’ evenings as required.

Required Skills & Experience

To be successful in this Secondary Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching RE in a Secondary School setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for RE.
• Excellent behaviour management skills to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• A passion for inspiring students and promoting engagement in Religious Education.
