Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, ranging from simple to complex cases
• Perform dependent functions as outlined in the medical plan of care
• Utilise the nursing process to develop a care plan for each assigned patient
• Act as a patient advocate, facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Initiate and participate in patient care conferences
• Leverage clinical, hospital, and community resources effectively
• Use equipment and supplies safely and economically
• Assign, teach, and direct other nursing personnel as needed
• Assume Team Leader duties
• Commit to professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, staying current with professional literature, and engaging in professional organizations

Qualifications & Registration Required:

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
• Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current certifications: CPR and IV
• Essential experience in physical assessment
• Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies
