We are working with a leading manufacturing and construction company to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor at their large, high-risk manufacturing site near Avonmouth. This role requires a hands-on professional who is passionate about driving behavioural safety and fostering a safety-first culture.
As part of a dedicated team, the successful Health & Safety Advisor will play a key role in transforming health and safety practices across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative organisation at the forefront of in-house and offsite manufacturing for some of the UK's largest construction projects.
The Role of Health & Safety Advisor:
- Support and guide on various site HS matters
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices
- Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and measurement of the HSE strategy
- Champion the Inclusion + Wellbeing Programme
The Health & Safety Advisor Candidate:
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent, ideally a Diploma or working towards
- Must have experience within high-risk manufacturing or engineering / construction environments
- Knowledge of ISO Management System ISO 14001 and 45001 is advantageous
- Proven track record of delivering HSE improvements and working within a HSE function at a manufacturing site
- Understanding of safety culture development
