Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher to work in a Year 6 class on a full-time and long-term basis in a one-form entry Primary School.
The school is located in the Bloxwich area of Walsall and has high but fair expectations for all in the school community. The school pride themselves on supporting children to develop their unique talents and self-evaluation is at the heart of our clients school.
As an Upper Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher, at our client’s school, you will be expected to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant, safeguard all students, mark student’s work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota and create a positive learning environment.
This role will be shared with another year 6 teacher, and you will be assigned 15 students, with no planning or report requirement. The reason for the role is to prepare the year 6 students as much as possible for SATS and this has worked well in previous years.
The role is due to start ASAP with an on going end date as it is covering a maternity post.
To apply for this Key Stage Two (KS2) Teacher role, you will need:
- Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
- An Enhanced and Paid for DBS on the update service
